OUR SOLID SHAMPOO RECIPE:
Here we give you our favorite recipe for solid shampoo, which leaves hair soft, shiny and silky. It washes hair as well as liquid shampoo. Concentrated in beautifying Ayurvedic powders of Fenugreek, Orange and Shikakai, it promotes hair growth and prevents hair loss while strengthening the hair. Plus, it’s very easy to make!
Ingredients for a solid shampoo:
- SCI active tensio: 30g
- Mineral water: 20g
- Orange Ayurvedic plant: 18g
- Ayurvedic plant shikakai: 21g
- Organic fenugreek vegetable oil 10g
- Organic holy basil essential oil 7 drops
Little extra tip: I add (and Romane too!) silk protein, which allows the hair to be silkier. A few drops are enough!
1/ Melt the SCI with the mineral water in a water bath over low heat. Mix throughout the heating process, crushing the mixture against the side of the bowl to form a homogeneous sticky dough. Tip: you can also crush the preparation using a pestle for better results.
2/ Then add the Orange powder and Shikakaï powder. mix well until the dough is smooth.
3/ Outside of the bain-marie, add the rest of the ingredients then mix thoroughly to homogenize.
4/ Fill the mold with your preparation, avoiding air bubbles. Tip: lightly oil your mold before putting your preparation in it for easier unmolding.
5/ Cool it in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes before unmolding it.
6/ Let your solid shampoo dry at room temperature at least 48 hours before using.
And presto, it's ready! All you have to do is slip it into your Trinquette soap pouch .
